'Bowl' You Over

On Monday night Nick and I headed into burnaby to celebrate his cousins 27th birthday. Nick's cousin LOVES bowling! - He even owns his own bowling shoes! So, when I sat down to make his card it was a no brainer on that I was going to make...

The card came together so perfectly and was so simple to make. I traced out the shape of a bowling pin on my Whisper White cardstock and cut it out. Next I used my extra-large oval punch and some real red carstock scraps to create the decorative stripes. From there I used my Circles #2 Originals Die to cut out the bowling ball (I used the biggest circle on the die) and then I added on my three finger holes using basic grey cardstock and my 1/2 inch circle punch. The very last thing I did was add in the grey shadowing using a lead pencil. :-)

My favorite part of the card was what I wrote inside:
"Wishing you a birthday full of so much happiness it BOWLS you over!"
